Most managers are promoted because they’re brilliant at their job.
Then they're expected to manage performance, handle difficult conversations, delegate effectively and hold the team together - often without the tools or support to do any of it well.
By the time the problems are visible, they're already costly.
Don't wait until leadership patterns become organisational problems.
Poor management is one of the most common reasons people leave their role - but disengagement, frustration and performance issues often emerge long before people leave.
And the impact isn’t just on people. It affects every part of an organisation.
What this looks like:
Managers holding onto work instead of delegating effectively
Difficult conversations delayed until issues escalate
Leadership confidence becoming inconsistent under pressure
HR and senior leadership firefighting preventable people issues
LeadSpace was created to give people the support when they need it the most.
It is a six-month embedded leadership development experience designed to develop leadership capability through reflection, reinforcement and behavioural application over time.
How it works
-
Focused on real leadership challenges and behavioural patterns emerging in day-to-day work. The group-coaching sessions coupled by digital content create structured space for reflection, discussion, accountability and practical application - not theoretical leadership training.
-
Between sessions, participants receive weekly practical resources, prompts and reflections designed to support immediate application in real work.
The focus is on sustained reinforcement over time rather than information overload.
-
Participants apply learning directly into live workplace situations throughout the programme - from difficult conversations and delegation challenges to team dynamics and decision-making under pressure.
Each month combines facilitated group coaching with bite-sized reinforcement, reflection and practical resources designed for immediate application in real work.
The programme is intentionally structured to move leaders from insight to application over time, creating opportunities to practise, reflect, refine and embed more sustainable leadership behaviours within their day-to-day role.
-
Cohorts are intentionally small and made up of leaders from different organisations to encourage openness, perspective and honest reflection outside internal workplace dynamics.
Participants will get access to a new network and organisations will get the benefit of diversity of thinking from different industries. Think MBA but on a smaller scale!
N.B. In-house programmes are also available on request -
Participants remain connected between sessions through a small cohort community designed to encourage reflection, accountability and shared learning over time.
A dedicated WhatsApp group creates ongoing opportunities for discussion, support and practical follow-through between sessions - helping leadership development remain visible and active within day-to-day work.
-
Choose between a fully virtual cohort experience or an enhanced pathway including individual coaching, stakeholder integration and in-person elements designed to accelerate behavioural change and accountability.

What makes this different from traditional leadership development?
LeadSpace focuses on behavioural change in real work rather than insight in isolation.
Traditional Leadership Development
-
Leadership development is often delivered as isolated events, with little opportunity for reinforcement, reflection or behavioural follow-through once participants return to operational pressure.
-
Many programmes focus on frameworks and concepts, but provide limited support translating insight into consistent leadership behaviour in day-to-day work.
On average a participant forgets 70% of content after 1 week.
-
Learning is often separated from the realities of live organisational challenges, making it difficult for leaders to apply and sustain change within real team dynamics.
-
Often targeted at executives or higher leadership levels, the price-points exclude those that need it the most.
This can leave emerging managers unsupported during the stage where leadership habits and behaviours are first developing.
LeadSpace
-
Focused on real leadership challenges and behavioural patterns emerging in day-to-day work. The 90-minute group-coaching format is designed to create meaningful reflection and discussion without requiring participants to step away from work for multiple days at a time.
-
Between sessions, participants receive bite-sized resources, prompts and reflections designed to support immediate application in real work. Content is intentionally flexible and accessible, allowing participants to engage at a time that works around operational demands, shift patterns and day-to-day responsibilities.

LeadSpace is designed to democratise coaching and leadership development - making it accessible earlier in the leadership journey, before avoidable patterns become entrenched.
With Core programme places starting £1,500 for 6 months, the programme provides a more practical and scalable way for organisations to support emerging leaders over time.
Built by a practitioner. Grounded in evidence.
LeadSpace was created by Kate Fonseca Williams, an occupational psychologist and ICF PCC coach.
Kate has spent years supporting leaders across organisations and industries from powerhouses such as Allianz Insurance, Nestle Purina, Unilever, Virgin Media 02, and Virgin to smaller organisations such as Cornish Lithium and ICE Trikes.
One pattern appeared repeatedly: leadership capability was often being built reactively, long after people had already stepped into management responsibility.
Lead Space was designed as an alternative to one-off leadership training - embedding behavioural change into real work over time.
